    • Pricing Structure

    Basic package: £350. The basic package includes the template, 1 years website hosting and domain name. You must also choose one of the following RomanCart packages.

    The template uses RomanCart’s website shopping cart system. This is a comprehensive system that covers far more than just allowing a customer to pay for an item. A good video explaining some of its features is available. The RomanCart features available to you depend on which of their packages you choose. See their website for full details. This charge is payable yearly.

    Bronze: £50
    Silver: £100
    Gold: £150
    Platinum: £200

    Mersey Internet recommends the Gold package as it is the cheapest package that includes the Remote Data Delivery feature. This allows you to manage all your prices in the RomanCart Product Manager which will greatly simplify the way you manage your website particularly if you have many products and/or your prices change frequently.

    Support and Maintenance

    Included in the basic template price is 1 month email support in terms of advice on how to solve any problems you come across during your initial setup of the template and customising it for your own needs. There are some further options you can purchase:

    Extended basic support: £50 Extends the length of basic email support to 1 year.

    Full support: £250 We will take on responsibility for all technical aspects of getting your website up and running and keeping it running. For example you can just give us your product list, product categories and prices, together with your company description and contact details etc and we will put all that information into the template and get it running.

    Admin login

    When you purchase the template you will be given a password to login and administer the site. This will enable you to enter, modify and delete your products as well as changing all the text on the home page, about us page and contact us page.

    You will also be able to set up more advanced features such as Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to improve your sites position in the search engine rankings.

    Technical Details

    The website uses Wordpress as a basis for the site. Product types equate to Categories and each Product’s details equate to a Wordpress Post. So if you want to add a new product you just “Write a new Post”. Maintaining your products is easy, just use the Wordpress “Manage Posts” screens.
